grr, type 2 sux ass... We have Mini masters here... on thursday nights at mage club. Make a deck from one booster, and any amount of basic land to it and play. 8 people play, when u beat an opponent, u get their cards and remake your deck, .
The last 2 people play off and the winner gets ALL the cards! hello 8 packs of apocalypse!!! really fun too, and only bout $6 each time to play.

Friday Night Magic - they hold tounaments every week (it actually runs twice a week, cause my local store runs it on thursday) and give away 3 prizes per night, of a foil card. The current card is ophidian (which is pretty shit). The only stink thing, is that the format is T2 - and I don't really want to spend $50 to make a deck...
